DUBAI, UAE – Dec 26, 2023 – (SeaPRwire) – True Gamers, a leading international eSports center operator, is thrilled to announce plans for a major 2024 expansion in Dubai with 9 new gaming lounges citywide. Slated to welcome players by next year, the venues will boost True Gamers’ footprint while providing enriched gaming experiences. A highlight of the new locations is the continued rollout of pioneering robotic waiter dogs to deliver food and drinks.
True Gamers is putting final touches on its highly anticipated launch of 9 fresh eSports gaming lounges across Dubai in 2024. The centers will grant access to over 120 gaming titles, paired with refreshments and amenities to elevate the entertainment. The new lineup kicks off at the prominent Dubai Mall Big location, followed by additional arenas at Internet City, Yas Mall, Reem Mall, Al Zahia City Centre, Mirdif City Centre, Boxpark Jumeirah, Al Khawaneej Last Exit and Festival City Mall.
A major attraction at the new clubs will be the expanded use of innovative robot-waiter dogs, first introduced by True Gamers in April 2023 as a pioneering innovation at one of its Dubai venues. Based on popularity and guest feedback, True Gamers expects to operate around 20 robotic units by end of 2024.
“The launch of new venues reflects surging demand for eSports in the UAE and our investors’ confidence in the excellence we provide,” said Anton Vasilenko, Co-Founder and CEO of True Games. “All departments are committed to delivering quality, exciting eSports experiences across our current and upcoming locations.”
The futuristic waiter dogs were designed collaboratively by UAE and CIS engineers and specialists. True Gamers invested over $100,000 in prototype development alone, allocating around $10,000 monthly for maintenance and improvements. The high-tech waiters orient autonomously in 3D space reminiscent of a busy gaming lounge, shuttling food, tracking inventory, and optimizing patron orders. A special feature allows remote control by employees with disabilities, expanding social impact.
True Gamers currently operates centers at Damac Hills 2, Dubai Mall Small, International City Pavilion, Bluewaters, and Villanova in Dubai.
The UAE expansion comes as True Gamers saw 2022 turnover reach $11.3 million, serving 300,000 monthly guests. After raising $13.5 million from investors to grow regionally, True Gamers now operates 124 lounges across the UAE and Eastern Europe.
Additionally, in 2024 True Gamers will host tournaments in Fc24, Fortnite, Valorant, CS:GO, and Dota 2. Segmented leagues let gamers hone skills and achieve eSports glory. By organizing weekly competitions between clubs, and soon between Emirates, True Gamers leads the UAE gaming scene in cultivating talent.
